This is an update to previously reported problem on our mail exchanges being unavaiable. This was caused due to high load of spam being sent our servers. This have been contained now as result of which the mail exchangers are working fine. We will monitor the status of our service and post any further updates.

mx.core.plus.net is failing to accept connections. This is likely to lead to increased queues on the mx.last platform which will further compound problem 44440.

This problem has been caused by an influx of attepmted SMTP connections to our incoming mail servers from spam sources. We now believe this issue to have quietened down and continual testing shows that mail servers are now able to successfully connect in the majority of cases.
