Whats unique about PAYGo products?With PAYGo products, all of your usage (uploads and downloads) is measured in MB not GB. This means that once you have exceeded your included usage for the month you will only be charged for the exact amount you use after this. You also get the security of a monthly price ceiling this is the maximum amount you can be billed at the end of the month (see tables above). Example: Product: PayGo Option 1 Basic Price: £11.75 The first 419MB of usage in the month is included in the basic price. Any additional usage above this now costs only 0.15p per MB! If the customer exceeds the product's Usage Ceiling of 7,746MB for the month, the price ceiling of £22.74 is reached - this is the maximum amount a customer may be billed in a single month. The customer can continue to use their service, but some types of usage will be restricted in speed until the end of the billing month. Can I transfer from another ISP?Yes. This is very easy to do - find out more in the Moving to Metronet FAQ. Why is there an activation fee?With Metronet broadband you have the choice to pay for everything upfront, keeping you free from commitments. Activation costs £40. However, if you prefer you can take advantage of our Free Setup option. Email, domains and web hostingThese extras are not included with Metronet broadband products. This ensures customers arent paying for services they dont need. Metronet email mailboxes are available if required. |
